It’s that time of year again, where we sit over our screens trying to suss out all of the amazing outfits worn by the celebs at the Grammys. For your convenience we’ve curated all the info and pics you need of our favourite looks from the 2020 Grammy Awards!
Ariana Grande in Giambattista Valli
Perhaps the most iconic dress of the night belonged to a Ms Arianna Grande! Although she had a couple of outfit changes, the most show-stopping was of course the huuuuuuge Giambattista Valli ball gown. The pop princess transformed into just that, and paired the tulle dress with matching satin gloves, Louboutin shoes and her signature high pony. It’s safe to say we’re obsessed.
Alicia Keys in Versace
Speaking of outfit changes, the hostess with the mostest Alicia Keys had a whopping 5 outfit changes and we legit can not fault her for it. Our favourite pick however was the metallic silver Versace dress she started the night in. FYI, this was followed closely by a hot pink co-ord set with blazer and wide leg pants. With a thigh high leg split, asymmetric bodice and hundreds of Swarovski embroidered crystals, it’s safe to say this was the dress of our dreams.
Maggie Rogers in Chanel
Maggie Rogers wore a STUNNING vintage Chanel dress which was covered in gold embroidered star detailing. The high boat neck bodice featured some vertical detailing, an illusion neckline and some super cute short sleeves. She was spotted on the red carpet carrying not a bag or clutch, but a matching Chanel water-bottle. When questioned, she commented saying that she carried the item “as a nod to the importance of sustainability and the urgency of our climate change reality”. Gorgeous musician, AND environmental queen? We have no choice but to stan.
Lizzo in Christian Sirano
When it came time for crowd-favourite Lizzo to accept her well deserved grammy… boy was she dressed the part. She wore a show-stopping Christian Sirano a-line ball gown that was studded with rhinestones and featured a stunning off-shoulder detail. On the stage (under what’s probably way too many lights to count) that dress glistened and gleamed so naturally and beautifully. The classically trained flutist looked liked literal royalty and was one of our favourite picks for the whole night. A 10/10 look for sure.
Dua Lipa in Alexander Wang
Modern pop icon Dua Lipa received some super harsh criticisms for her look when she rocked up in a two piece Alexander Wang design. Personally we love this look and think that she’s rocking that satin gown like a champion! Basically, with the blue eyeshadow and neatly styled up-do she’s embodying a minimalist inspired angel from the 90’s. We have no criticisms tbh.
Jameela Jamil in Georges Chakra
Last but definitely not least, actress Jameela Jamil wore an incredible 2019 couture piece by fashion god Georges Chakra. The electric blue panelled dress featured a strapless bodice with tulle gathering and a flow a-line skirt with edgy mesh insert. She paired this ah-mazing gown with slightly curled hair and minimal inspired rings. We’re totally here for it guys.
